Cassandra Harper’s textiles are influenced by the past, infused with the present and designed for a life time. Natural linens and pure cottons are used as the base cloth for Cassandra Harper textiles, which are hand printed in India by master artisans. Cassandra has a deep appreciation for all textiles produced by hand and the textured beauty that is created by layering colour with carved wooden blocks. The time and care involved with this traditional technique produces uniquely authentic pieces, each one with tiny variations, none exactly the same, making the textiles special and covetable. Cassandra Harper’s beautiful designs draw on European textile patterns from the 16th and 18th centuries. She anchors these classic designs with modern colours, fresh stripes and her own unique twist to create her signature style.
